Grinding noise coming from passenger side front wheel under breaking

  Arctic 182FF
Upon breaking with any sort of force, there's a grinding noise which sounds like it's coming from the front passenger side wheel. My first thought was that it was the arch rubbing against the tyre as my car is lowered quite a lot on coilovers, but surely if that was the case it would make the same noise when going over speedbumps and on hard cornering (which i tried just to see if the noise persisted but there was nothing). Really not sure what it could be, there's been no change to the car within the last monthish so not sure why it would start now. Discs and pads were replaced about 2 months ago.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Are your calipers in good condition? I've got a noise similar to this and my caliper is stuck on pretty much, and absolutely fucked.

Thanks Jesus, they looked pretty old and rusty when I had the discs and pads changed to be honest, how much am I looking at for new calipers? Is it something that needs to be sorted immediately?

You wouldn't need new ones, you can clean and grease them, I think you can also get kits to replace the small rubber boots if they are damaged.

Thanks for the advice guys, I'll have a word with my mechanic and see when he can take a look at them for me. Thanks again
