Grrr, printers just died!

In the middle of printing a letter it's now saying the black cartridge is the incorrect type even though it's been the same one for months! :dapprove:

Tried resetting the printer, removing and reinstalling the cartridges but nothing...

Anymore ideas guys?

Hit it, and did you actually unplug it and reset the comp to?

I assume you've googled the make and model of your printer to see if it's a known problem?

Yeah unplugged the printer for like 5 mins, haven't reset the PC though.

Try turning connection off in network and resetting turning back on

lol, just gone through the whole 'self help' on the HP site and i have an MRGN value of 1 indicating that the black cartridge is fudged! lol! Time for a new one me thinks!

I just got a shed load of cheap cartridges from here. 6-pack for my Canon MP110 for £12. UberBargain. Sure, it's 3rd party stuff but I only use it for printing documents with a splash of colour here and there. Does the job nicely
