After ordering one of these (from seeing another thread) I was very disappointed:

Does anyone else have a collective pitch RC heli?

I've not a clue how to fly it, so I opted for the training gear... although I would have though a flight sim would be better.

My Picoo Z had a mind of its own... it would hover and go in any direction it felt like no matter what lol!

Yup, I found that it just hovered, that's it.

I put weight on the front of it, so that it leaned forwards. That improved things slightly, because it started travelling forwards.

I have that same HoneyBee CP2, haven't actually managed to get it off the ground yet lol

Just when I get the confidence to try and take off, my batteries run out.. doh!

She's here... hovered around the bedroom (2cm) to see if all working. Adjusted the trim levels. On charge ready for action later on.

Nice work Oms, I would be scared of flying those things. Thought about picking up MS Flight Sim (2002 had copters I think) for a practice, should only cost a couple quid. I remember it being bloody hard on that game.

I'm after a boat, the other half has a lake out on her land in Norway and I've always wanted to get something decent to go on it.

I crashed it in my garden.... spectacularly!

Luckily there's only a wee minor part that needs replacing, only it has to bl**dy come from China so I'm expecting it next week.

VERY hard to fly this. It's not come very well balanced from the factory, hence the twitchiness.

There's flight sim software for this beast, which allows you to connect your controller to your PC vis serial cable. I might invest in this. :S

Try making a ballancing stand its basically extended arms makes learning to fly them easier.

As for the old helicopter Mine still in pieces keep meaning to try and fix it.

I've got one of those.

I was actually flying it (airborne), and came down too fast (whilst tilting sideways).
