dCi 65 + C2 (<Sold)
So she's gone. My little 98 MK2 PH1 1.2 8v. Perfect little car, no nice features, no power steering, nada. But I loved it. Had it a year and a month and it never let me down once. Unfortunately though, the gearbox went on it on Sunday. This was confirmed on Tuesday, and it was sold for £120 on Wednesday by a guy who'd sourced a free gearbox and was getting it fitted for free. Gutted.
Anyway, it's been replaced by this, an 02 DCi 65. Got it for £1,500, it's on 65,000 miles, has a f*cked injector, needs the cambelt changed, and is in need of a full service. Apart from that though, it's sound!
So I'm obviously delighted with this, halves my fuel bill seeing as how I travel 20k a year, and it's a huge upgrade. It's the Dynamique. It's even got a rev counter ffs! Lol. And it tells the outside temp OMG.
No plans for it at all, got my own iPod CD Player so that's the only mod. All I plan to do is keep it fit and healthy until it's no doubt untimely death! Need a CS sticker for extra 20bhp but that's on order.
