H&R Bilstein Coilovers

  Porsche GT4
Hi,

I'm totally new to building a track car so please forgive me if this is a laim question.

I purchased a set of used H&R Bilstein Coilovers from a user on here, he said they are height & damper adjustable. I now how to adjust the heigh but no sure about the dampering, is there anything i should be looking out for? they have a double spring on them & also there is a nut on the bottom of them but that looks to hold the internals in.

Any help would be great.

If they were damper adjustable they would have a little pressure knob on the side

Sadly it hasnt, i asked the seller before i purchased them if they were damper adjustable & he said yes, gutted.

The sticker that's on the unit say's Bilstein at the top & H&R at the bottom, in the centre is part number 38 04 453-3/1 but can't find a trace on the internet!

I have then on my car, and they are pretty good on the track TBH.

However I would like a set of damper adjustment coilovers next.

cheers Fletcher, ill put them on & give it ago see what happens.

At the moment i'm running standard cup units with eibach pro springs so should be better on track with these on
