H & R's at Snetterton today

Had a set of H & R coilovers fitted last week and while I'm very happy with the way they work on road and track, I found that at Bomb Whole corner at Snetterton, which is a quick right hander with a dip, the near side front has made contact with the inner wing - worn it away and rubbed paint from the metal underneath, anyone else had this problem?

yeh, lol. Always hitting the tyre on the right front(is that near side?). If so you may need to raise that corner by 5mm or so.

ohhh, and I'm off to snetterton soon, got a voucher for the advanced driving course. Have you done it?

yea u mean the bit where the metal is bent 90deg. mine cathces on dips in that bit sometimes too

I have FK's and the only way to stop tyres hitting arch is to run them at the top end of adjustment...around -30mm.....any lower and rub too easily :dapprove:

erm, have you cut away or bent the bumper mounting plate away?

if you haven't, you're lucky not to have peeled a tyre from the rim!

best get the hack saw or mallet out then.

look under the arch where the bumper meets the wing. there's a bracket with a bolt through it. you need to take as much of this away as possible or it will catch depepneding on how low your car is.

obviously, only go up to the bolt.
