Had cambelt done now auto lights not auto anymore

How do I make my lights work auto when it gets dark again. Had the cambelt done so not sure what's happened. 1.6 mk2 ph2 54 plate

Might have been switched off.... Turn your ignition on, then turn your side lights on and off twice and you should hear a beep....see if they work then.

Ignition on, flick light switch on and off twice until it beeps. Auto lights are activated

you might have already checked this.

but u can switch the auto lights setting on/off.
1. put key in, 1 turn/click.
2. turn the headlight twister from the off setting to the dipped beam setting and back, do this twice. quite quickly.
3. should hear a beep (or double beep, cant remember).
then turn engine on and see if the lights come on (if dark)
