Had the car on the rollers today!!

Mods are an RStuner and a cat back K-tec stealth..
Really wanted a de-cat before but couldnt source one in time...

As said in the other thread, im always a bit funny with motorscope results, but in comparison to others from there looks like a healthy result.

Agreed with the ATW and Fly figures though, but i feel that all motorscopes at the Fly figures are calculated really high

i spotted that. TBH there's margin for error, and heat can change things between runs. that's a tiny tiny difference

barometric pressure looks too low though

Tbh the rollers seem accurate, my friend has a 2.0 20V turbo coupe which he had rr'd as 255bhp a few months back at a different place, had his done here today and came out with the same result.....

thats a bit of OTT for a FWD car, 25-30bhp is about the going rate

either way, don't take that print out as gospel!

Well the wheel figure is going to be the most accurate.

so 131.6 + 25 0r 30 ish.

Front wheel drive is normally calculated at 17% trans loss IIRC, (awaits Matt fred or another Guru to correct me.

Tbh i would ask Tupps (sure ur friends with him) to have a look at his graph see what his wheel figure is, cos IIRC he had 183 at the fly for a near standardish car.
See what % they used to calculate his at fly figure, would not suprise me if they had used a large % agen on his.

Just been speaking with Tupps and he got 146bhp at the wheels and 183 at the fly

see 146 ATW using 17% is abouy 170 ATF.

from 146 - 183 is like 25/6%

Most people say that with an RStuner you gain 8 -10 bhp which over standard mine appears to be showing.......

I have a RStuner on mine, and although ppl say 8-10 im still doubtful on it. Feels slightly faster because things are done low down on the revs, and the 5K is more smooth but i dont believe the predictions.

this might be a stupid question but why is MAX power ATW and ATF come in at different RPM?
