Halfraulds Own Brand Oil ?

Whats the general consensis on this ?

Went for some oil this morning and the only 5w40 I could find was their own brand stuff, seem to remember reading somewhere that its about the lowest quality of oil you could sell but I can't remember where so might have imagined it.
Didn't get any but was wondering what people thought of it as they actually give you 5l in those bottles so I wouldn't have to buy a 4l and 1l bottle and its about the same price as a 4l bottle of GTX magatec ?

it gets a bit hot on track, but i used it in my road car with no probs

You can get better oil down the motor factors for the same price or less, i wouldnt bother tbh, unless you are in dire need...

I seem to remember Oilman discussing cheaper oils before, and the fact that some fully-synthetic aren't true fully-synt etc. general concensus was, you get what you pay for.
