Hand detailed my mates MK5 R32 Rep + DC2

Gave my mates car a going over by hand today. Due to PC it at some point when I get chance, but he needed it shiny for tomorrow.

It's a 230bhp 1.9 TDi with the full R32 kit etc, its amazing!!

Washed, fly remover'd, tar remover'd, clayed, washed, dried, SRP'd, ERP'd and Wax'd.

Gave the DC2 a going over with the same process as well!
It also needs PC'ing when I get time and more confidence, few swirls from the bodyshop, but all in it's looking pretty fresh.

Was going to respray the wheels today but the shop wasn't open for paint! Few more jobs to finish it off, but depends on selling it etc.

First proper wax I've ever had (lasts forever!) and it seems fine, easy on and off, smells really nice too.

was one of my first waxes too - along with collinite 476. i like waxes but i'm more into sealants now as i find them even easier to use and are a bit easier to apply thinly

Like the DC2! R32 looks like a decent rep aswell, but whats the point? R32 is all about the noise!

Nice rep though! I think the Golf badge should go too. I saw an R32 rep yesterday, thought it was an R32 from behind but no badge and I thought exhausts looked a bit small so was a bit suspect...went passed it had no other R32 parts!

Hmm, I could swear its the 1.9, thought they were 150bhp standard?
