handbrake adjustment on a 182?

just changed the rear pads on my 182 but i was wondering how the handbrake was adjusted mine goes up 6 click's, should i have adjusted something when i was swapping over the pads?

The cable is up above the heat sheild IIRC mate.

you have to remove the heatsheild above the exhaust centre section and adjust the nut

OR

you might be lucky and have the adjuster inside the car under the handbrake cover

If it was like mine when I changed the rears you will have to get under the car, undo the heatshield and the adjuster is sat just above where the heatshield sits, Whatever you do dont try doing this just after you have taken the car out for a test.

I still have the burn mark on the back of my hand LOL
