Handbrake sticking problem

The past couple mornings when I lift the clutch to pull away after taking handbrake off it doesn't wanna go like the handbrake is stuck on even though its fully off.

I have to rev it then it makes a clunking sound and then I'm free. Only does it when the cars been standing for hours/overnight.

Its a clio 197 any help appreciated!

Very common on the 197/200.

Either don't put the handbrake on, or live with it.
