Handbrake Warning switch/light Wiring

Has anyone got a wiring diagram or some advice regarding how to wire the handbrake warning switch and light?

There's a diagram in the haynes manual but I am having no luck as I dont have any of the wiring what so ever, so cant trace it back. When I bought the car the previous owner had completely stripped it :S.

It's just a single wire that goes to the switch

I've got it on show in mine as no carpet etc... I just taped it to the floor to stop it moving around

What do you need to know?

I just want to know where it attaches to on the instrument panel and on the handbrake as its not clear in the haynes manual.
