handbreak cable probs

nearside handbreak cable has snaped bought a newone gave them the reg ,tried to fit it ,its to short (its shorter than the snapped one) going to take it back tommorow.
is there a few vairations for a 172(mk2 ph1)
has anyone else had the same problem

My bro had the same problem, ended up getting one from renault in the end, not to expensive from what i remember.

Buy a new pair of genuine cables from Renault as said above not that expensive.

I found out the hard way making three return visits to the motor factors before going to Renault. About £50 for the pair.

Wisest words spoken. Pattern cables suck, especially clutch cables.

yea they are shorter for the ph1. just got 1 from renault for £42
