My computer has randomly stopped booting.
It almost makes it as far as the windows log on screen (I can see the background etc) then just crashes with a bit of a click from the hard disk no blue screen or anything. If i disable automatic restart it stops on a completely black screen.
Ive ran CHKDSK to check for errors but i am only allowed to run two options /P and /R
/P reports one or more errors on the drive
While /R just checks everything and tries to repair things with no success.
Is there anythng else i can run to determine if the hard disk is buggered?
