I like a lot, love the st's and this is a cut above.

Not quite.The engine is based on the same type of block as the ST but it has new bespoke pistons,conrods and camshafts.

It also has a larger borg warner K16 turbo which doubles the boost from 0.7 to 1.4 bar.Also a larger intercooler,different manifold and induction also.

i was just commenting on what i have heard... i have seen and been told about lots of bad experiences with tuners and i have had them myself... hence i do all the work i can myself and anything i cant i get a garage to do...

the stories i had been told involved a 200sx s13 and some problems with the company! now they might have 5million happy customers, they might have 3 upset customers, i know when i went there a few years ago and saw a rr day that i wasnt the only person who thought the way things were being done was a bit questionable! now from this and the stories i have heard... i wouldnt use them...

all tuners are the same, look at rc dev! they were well known for building really good evo's and doing good work, then all of a sudden they turned in to a bunch of c***s tbh...

the stuff i have heard and experienced in the past with jam sport may just of been a bad day... may have been old staff, they might have changed... just saying they wouldnt be my first choice...

brought it back to the work shop for mapping ,see how it will handle 10500rpm! be nice to see the na 1.6 hit 240bhp

you should see it now, fair few bits have changed, ill get some pics of it today, tripple plate carbon carbon clutch, ap air jacks, all the boost pipes are aluminium with wiggens fittings on them... looks special! pics to follow!

Jon, no that was a 1.6 cvh with 270bhp, the escort fred is talking about is Jamie's own project, 2ltr 16v st170 base engine, expected to have 600bhp. the gearbox is a hewland 6speed sequential gearbox. very trick bit of kit.

cheers,the st's are the standard 2ltr duratec with a cosworth designed plenum and our supercharger kits on them.


I'm not sure about PVS, we wont have a stand there this year, so if i go ill see what stand i can get it on...
