Quite a few products here: Worth the £££

http://www.speeding.co.uk/acatalog/Penzoil_Slick_50.html

I'm going to flush out the coolant system on my car.. is 'Slick 50 Cooling System Flush' the product to buy??

There seems to be quite a few products that CLEAN the engine and IMPROVE preformance. Is it worth paying the £10-£20 for peace of mind...? OR are they all a Con...

  ST on the way...
I've used the Wynns stuff for a few years and found it does make a difference :)

  BMW M3
I put some Wynns oil additive in the engine almost the same week as i bought the 182... then joined here and got absolutely rinsed for doing so lol

Now its nicely run in..... it gets nowt but the finest silkolene.

  1.8 Civic EX
Thinking about it I used a fair amount of this stuff on the valver and it did seem to run a fair bit smoother afterwards...used that 10k boost stuff too...the amount of crap that came out the exhaust while using that was amazing!

i'm gng to take a dive spend £50 on some stuff and see what happens! i'm on 33k at the mo, and the serv and ESP lights like to go on now and again - i can see my clio gng downhill from here

Tbh it's only worth using them on older cars with a bit of mileage on - that's why I was asking how many miles it has done etc.

oh right - well i assume i wont do any damamge to the car and it can only help so for a few £££ i may aswell have a flutter. thanks for your advice

  Pink & Blue 182, JDM DC2
TBH they recommend it but in all honesty i'd avoid. I don't want the inside of my engine cleaned... who knows what seal is damaged and is now blocked by a bit of oil which you're about to wash out, same goes for these cooling system flushes.

Regular serviced vehicles don't need stuff like this.
