Speaking form experience, from a similar situation... Getting a 172 in my opinion was a good idea. However dont get one purley because u like the speed of the car, because to be honest they dont 'feel' that fast and after the first 2 weeks the buzz wears off and its just another car. If your getting one for other reasons, such as you like the look of em,you want a track car etc etc like me then its defo a good decision. However expect to be ass raped for insurance and petrol every month lol

I know how you feel, I was really worried about getting rid of my last car, was quite attached to it, and was really sad when it went, but as soon as I saw my 182 arrive I forgot all that. You'll love it, although I'm sure you will still miss your lil 1.2 at times. But get the 172!
