Hazards wont stop flashing

Just washed the 172 and now for some reason the hazards wont turn off! any ideas??

hazard switch as a pure guess

if the hazard button doesnt click when you press it, then...its a new swtich for you!

yeah i think so, have taken the fuse out now to stop it draining the battery

i just had my hazard switch break so check that should click in like said before

does the stereo have to come out to get the hazard panel out??

You have probably got the alarm unit wet under the scuttle panel. Just dissconect it.

No it doesn't i pushed the hazard switch so it was out then got a little screwdriver and popped the little plastic triangle off then pushed the little clips out and the switch came out.

ah cool, thanks will have a go at that before i get the scuttle & wipers off.

anyone know how to get them off, just 2 13mm on the wipers im guessing, then some little screws on the scuttle?

right, put fuse back in, still flashing. unplugged hazard switch, still flashing

must be alarm under scuttle now right?

Yep, you wont be able to see the connector block on the unit though. You will need to unscrew the cap where the wires dissapear to get to it
