Head Unit Advice

Decided to move away from the Alpine ida-X001 as it doesnt play cd's !

So im stuck between the Alpine: CDA-9885R and the Alpine: CDA-9883R

Does anybody have these headunits and can tell me what they're like and also if anybody has pictures of them fitted that would be good also.

Help and opinions appreciated

i've recently got the 9885r and its quality, although i'm running through standard 182 speakers it does sounds good and the unit its self has some really nice features, if your looking to use an ipod but dont want the full on x001 which doesnt offer the cd facility this is the one, the full speed and bio light display making usng the ipod really easy, havent got any photos to show you but its looks really nice in mine, couldnt be happier. Look at audio66 as they have it going for £209 which is a great deal

Deffintly the 9855R! I've got one also and absolutely love it. SOund quality is spot on and it looks great also.

Woops had just got in from a 12 hour shift and was hellish tired lol.
Yea I was talking about the 9855R sorry!
Never used the other 2 so have no idea sorry.

9855r is good but the full speed ipod connection was the bit that made me get the 9885r, both spot on HU's
