some one must at least know the colours......someone must have a diagram.....
userly they are stuck on the radio but mine dont have one i need to know what ones the perminant and the ign live to solve a problem with it not switching on
from the amount of people changing there stereos im sure there is somone on here with an answer.... all i want to know is what are the colours of the main power block on the main loom......
as they arnt the typical yellow red black etc
across the top its like a light blue/gray and then its a gray/yellow, then black
on the lower its like washed out blue, then gray then yellow/gray then pink/gray
its totaly got me messed up i cant figure out why my stereo ant got any power....
it says JVC on the heads up display and the remote thing works but thats it.... no power to the head unit
yep the stereo works finem, all fuses that exist are all fine and i didnt think you needed an adaptor for the clio i asumed it was a straight plug and play... it seems the same iso connector and it all goes together fine
its just the wiring sems to be in the wrong order....ill have another look tomoro ill rip it all out and if need be run a few wires to see if i can bypass the power or somthing really wish somone had a picture of the iso plu or something that told me what the wires where on the loom
My guess is that the loom is wrong for the JVC as you do need an adaptor.
I wouldn't start messing with the connectors, my first port of call would be getting hold of an adaptor mate.
well iv got the adaptor for the remote and the display as well as the patch lead for the remote
so what your saying is i need another adaptor to turn that iso into somthing that works with the iso of the car?
roght i just had a long long chat with a audio specalist and he says that the clio loom is a standard iso loom and that all the colours etc should all be standard and that i shouldnt need anything other than the pathc leads to wire in the stereo.......
well i also went to halfords and found that no such lead for the 2001> clio exists so back to square one im going to have to test each wires and re rig the iso by the looks of it.......
can anyone tell me if its pos to take out and reposition the pins so i dont have to chop at the wires.......
but failing that dose anyone know what the voltages or the resistance values i should be getting from each of the pins are??
Harness Adapters
The original vehicle wiring loom may not match the ISO plug in your car. Our Harness Adaptors will plug directly into the vehicle wiring loom to overcome this difficulty.
