Headbolts, oiled or dry?

  HBT 172 Cup
Dismantled the block to repair the engine the other day, the headbolts i took out (the original renault ones), were bone dry.

The replacements have come in an oily bag (presumably to stop them corroding in storeage). Renault states to oil headbolts only when re-using them (which im not). Should i degrease the new bolts before installing?

Might be a bit of a petty question but i know oiling threads can greatly affect the sort of pre-load the bolt applies, and i dont want to be pulling this engine apart any time soon...

Thanks

I actually have a spare tube of ARP fastener lube, i guess i could actually use it on all the headbolts and main caps too to create the most accurate torques?

light smear of copper grease on the threads, and similar under the head of the bolt. You don't need much, just enough to stop binding while you're torqing
