headlights stay on

seems to be problem after problem today,
my headlights have decided to stay on even when the stalk is switched to off,when i turn ignition off they go out.
any ideas guys?

Have you not noticed that they come on on there own when it gets dark ?

^^^ as above if its dark they are prob automatic. Mine go one every time i drive into the workshop at work

just parked up under street lights and now theyre back to normal. maybe theyre like u said guys.

Yeah they'll be set to automatic so come on when its dark without needing to do anything. If you want to turn this off put the ignition on and do a turn of the switch on and off twice of the lights and you'll hear a beep to say its been de-activated.
