Headunit with Bluetooth and ipod capabilities

  Honda & VW
My mate is after a headunit for his 06 Megane, he's after one that has bluetooth and ipod capabilities. basically the better spec the better.

he's happy for either a single or double din unit with a budget of £300 ideally.

anyone recommend me one i can point him in the direction of?

Pioneer do good Bluetooth ones with Ipod capabilitly.
I had a DEH-P70BT but they've updated a few times since that was new and had full ipod control and built in bluetooth with external mic and remote.
Just look for the ones with the 'BT' at the end of the product name.

I've got this one, full speed iPod/iPhone cable and bluetooth kit.

Charges iPod/iPhone and basically, you select from the HU (can't control iPod feature on actual device, has to be through HU) just like it is on the device like scroll through and select artist/album/playlist etc and then scroll and select song. Just as quick as using the device. It charges my iPhone 3GS too.

Bluetooth is built into the HU, no extra modules, just the mic to attach, mine is on the steering column. Works well, only thing is it's a bit fiddly to make calls, can skip through alphabet but it's not amazingly quick, then scroll through names, select and scroll through different numbers for each person. Selecting from phone is much quicker if a little besides the point. But I mainly use mine for incoming calls, it mutes volume/pauses songs and rings through the speakers. Select answer/decline or have auto-answer. Comes up with name on the screen too. Depending on speed, you have to talk up a bit but usually everyone understands me ok.
