Heat Wrapped Manifold

Why, how much and who does it?

Just been looking throught the (stunning) modded car section and noticed a heat wrapped manifold, my only guess at why is to keep the engine bay temp down?

But if I'm wrong it doesn't sound like an expensive mod and I may be interested if its worth it.

My exhaust is wrapped but I don't think it stays any cooler?

it works to keep bay temps down as well as protect things that could be affected by heat. also hot gasses travel faster then cooler ones therefore if you keep the heat in the exhaust it 'll work better
