heater controls help

hi

i am in the process of gathering together all the parts i need to delete the aircon from my 182 and want to replace the heater controls (mine are badly scratched)

could someone tell me if a 172 ph2 controller will work the same even tho they are a bit different to look at?

my 182 is a cup and so has the manual controls.

They're wired differenty I believe.

I wanted to fit Cup items to my 172 after removing the aircon but have been told the loom is different.
