Heater fan not working on speed 4 :(

Hi,
We've only just noticed, but on a recently purchased 2006 clio (new shape) heater fan number 4 won't work.

Numbers 1, 2 and 3 work fine, but when you click up to four it does nothing!!

I've run a few searches but found various things such as 'resistor pack', 'fuses', and 'heater fan switch'.


Does anyone know the fix for this?

As an update to this, when I wiggled the connectors on the fan behind the glovebox the fan came on on number 4.
However it then went off again and took a lot more wiggling to come back on.

Any ideas?
