heater matrix, easy?

Need to change heater matrix shortly whilst weather is good. Done one on a 306 which was dash out weekend job, is it same sort of job on mk2 ph1.

Did a search but couldn't find much

the matrix in the car? it's a complete dash out job including the dash frame. The heater hoses in the engine bay aren't particularly fun either!

Could do it in 5 hours I reckon if you remember where everything goes and are very organised

Ok cheers. Are the hoses in engine bay hard to remove? As I was going to try a flush out first, everything's pointing at blocked matrix.
