Heater only blowing hot air since stripping out car

Ive done a search on the problem of the heater only blowing out hot air, and have seen the heater control valve mentioned a lot.

However, I have also seen that a sensor inside the car has been mentioned, which can cause the climate control to get confused?

I recently stripped the cars interior out, and since then Im only getting hot air out of the vents. Im just wondering if this is because I have removed this sensor? Where is/was it located?

Ignore this, now sorted.

Guessed it was the one on the roof, plugged that back in and Im now getting cold air again

Wait how did you fix this?? Im having the exact same issue.

Refitted this into the centre console on the roof which sorted it
