Heater Resistor Pack

I am having problems with the heaters on an 06 Clio and after reading various posts it looks like the heater resistor pack needs replacing.

After purchasing one on Ebay I have come to fit it and can't find a post that tells me where it is.

Various posts say it is on the drivers side under the scuttle board but all i have there is the end of the front suspensions post.

I have took the glove compartment out and can't find what I am looking for there.

Can anyone help ?

I had the exact problem, ended up just cleaning and poking mine to make it work but hopefully I can help you find it!

Remove your glovebox, if you then look at the side of the centre console, above the stereo you ought to see a black box with two hex screws, one at top and one at bottom, it is an oblong box, there should also be an electrical plug on it, unplug is and undo the screws, the heater resistor pack will just pull out, but careful it's still connected with what I assume must be a positive and negative, they aren't plugs so I'm not sure how much work you have to replace it but shouldn't be too difficult

Out of curiousity, what problem did you have with yours? My number 2 setting didn't work but the rest did.

Thanks I have found it unfortunately I have bought the wrong thing from Ebay.

The problem i have is 4 doesn't work at all and 1-3 is intermittent.

There has defenatley been a wiring fault
