Heater resistor wiring diagram

My heater stopped working Suday, so fitted a new mosfet transistor which lasted a couple of minutes. Replaced it again (i'd bought 2) and it lasted 30 seconds It may have been my soldering, faulty mosfets or something else...

Can anyone have a look at a wiring diagram for a 182 clio with climate and tell me what the 5 pins that plug into the resistor pack do please? Pin 1 on mine is +12v, pin 4 is +12v and pin 5 is ground. Wondered what pin 2 and 3 do and whether pin 2 should be 12v.

Hi Andy, got a used resistor off a guy on here, fitted it yesterday and it's been fine so far. It was risky as i was worried something else on the car was taking the pack out.

Looks like the mod doesn't always work.

Have ordered a cd with wiring schematics on.
