Heater resistor

Just bought my first Clio sport 172, love it however already got my first problem, heaters do not blow however get warm eventually all dials work and light up a noises are there but it's a no blow! Thinking heater resistor but does anyone have a guide for repair or even how to test this please.....

Mk1 or Mk2?

Mk2 2002 plate, I have bridged port 1 and 5 and it came on full power so was wondering if anyone now knows if there is a fix for the heater resistor?
