heaters blowing warm air

Should my heaters still blow cold or coldish air even tho my aircon dont work due to no gass?

Not if it's freezing outside. It should blow through the outside air temperature (roughly).

It could be the common fault with the climate control - do a search for 'warm air' or 'hot air' and you should find it.

It blows through warm air all the time ino my air con has no gas but even in the winter it was blowing through warm air fitted a new reo stat today as they packed up all together will be getting aircon regassed just gettin prepared for the summer lol

All sorted now was the cog on the motor in drivers foot well cost me a jubilee clip lol

You got any pictures of this? Mines blowing out hot air constantly too even when my setting is on cold! This could be my problem and an easy and cheap fix. Any help appreciated pal.

Take the plate off in the drivers footwell with the two climate control motors, your problem will be obvious. A small jubilee clip and some araldite is all that is required.

Cheers guys. I found quite a lot of info on here about it including pictures.
Any body tried actually replacing the cog so it doesn't happen again?.

I used a zip tie 3 years ago & it's still good. I think the cog is part of an expensive component (heater unit?)

Just use a jubilee clip mate or a zip tie mines still holding up fine cost me £1.29 to fix rather then £££££ to fix proply
