Heaters dont work, no water on floor and new thermostat!

Hi, couple of weeks ago my heaters decided to pack up completely, they just blow cold air no matter what i put the heaters on, also my car is running a little cold just under half way. even after a 20 mile drive. i changed the thermostat about 2 months ago and now wondering if ive missed somthing obvious, also no water at all anywhere on the floor front or back and i changed the coolant last week.

Is the heater matrix the next step? or anything else that maybe an issue.

Thanks a lot, Luke

Check that the coolant hoses (heater matrix hoses) under the bonnet that go into the bulk head are both hot, If one pipe is hot but the other is just warm while the engine is hot you will need to flush the matrix through, seen a few like these, when you flush the matrix out the water will be brown as it comes out, normally due to lack of antifreeze changes. However because your heaters packed up all of a sudden then it could be the actual heater controls at fault (cable operated or motor operated) so the air flaps that direct the airflow from hot to cold are actually stuck in the cold position. Hope this helps :)

Thanks a lot, i'll have a look into all those things, thanks again.

Does anyone have any other suggestions as i've tried all of the above any everything seems to be in order, i've changed my thermostat and new coolant again with no luck.
Checked all the pipes, opened the bleed valve to let any air out and checked the control panel all wires and control wires all work as i can hear a difference in noise when i change the temp, but its still cold air blowing.

Thanks, Luke

Sorry yes meant to say are they both hot.

If they are then it's likely to be the mixer flap getting stuck in the cold position (unusual, as they normally go hot and nothing else)
