heating in car! help!

well my heating been gone 4 a while now , i use to put up with it but now ive had enough i want it to work it blows out hot air for about 12 seconds but then goes cold would this be the thermostat? ive replaced the coolent! somebody please give me there thoughts on the matter! cheers tom.

Or, could be thermostat - does the water get hot/warm?

If it doesnt, and you hit traffic, I guess water temp goes up; when it does, does it blow hot air then?

Could be Matrix, Thermostat or even both!
