Heavy clutch

right iv been to test drive a mk2 clio 172 today,02 plate. loved it so put a deposit on it, its mega cheap too!! just a few bad points one is the clutch was extremely heavy? im collecting the car tomorrow and just wondering why the clutch maybe be really heavy?

Also while im here, is there anything else i should look out for? its done 60,000 il be havin all the belts changed soon and going to replace as much stuff as i can for brand new or uprated

Clutch is heavy on the 1*2 sports don't worry about it. Check the rear shocks and springs engine mounts.

il see if i no anyone with a sport and il compare them lol, but iv also got a 1.2 and when i got back in it and pressed the clutch i slammed my foot down haha

Anyway, good choice going for a 172, Will save you the time and hassle of converting your old car.

Te clutches are always heavy on them. You will get used to it.

Too much hassle, this was £1100 bodyworks crap, thinking about putting the engine in my white one and breaking the sport, dont no yet tho, after the insurances sorted probly be a waste of money

Yes the clutch is heavy on these cars. You soon get used to it.
