Hey every one! I'm Fernando from portugal. I'm about to buy a Clio 172 not dicided yet ph1 or ph2.

I'm 27 years old I allready have nice cars like, Civic Vti, Clio 16v 1.8, Honda Integra R, Audi A4 2.0TDi etc...

I'm still searching for a good clio 172... here in portugal things are a litle more expensive... and I want a good condition car.
I would like to know if there are the clio phase 1.5?
Because there is one on sale it is a 12/2000 Renault Clio Sport 172, with the exterior of phase 2 and the interior of phase 1 is that possible?

They were never sold in the U.K although maybe in Portugal. It's possible to swap between interiors and exteriors on both cars though

the owner of the car told me he already bought the car like that... and he asked his mechanic and he told him that, the car is phase 1.5...

I don't belive that exists so I came here ask.

There is no such thing as a Phase 1.5, it's either a 1 or 2.

What has probably happened is some bits have been swapped over i.e the rear bumber/spoiler etc

my thinkings go to a possible crash of the car and then when they repair it put the phase 2 body...

the car is from 12/2000 in that time the phase 2 still wasn't sold.. right?

The Phase 2 172's were sold from 2002 onwards, some slipped through the net on 'Y' plates which in the UK was 2001.

The one you have linked looks like it's been modified. It has aftermarket wheels and it seems to lack xenon head lights aswell which unless i am mistaken and there's a reason they should have them!

I allready see this car and it has phase 1 interior the white gauges the setring-wheel, dash... etc..
