Hello just got a CUP :-)

Some of you will know me, some may have seen my MK5 on track at French Car Show!

After alwase owning VAG cars and vowing never to buy a french car i have done it!

I have got myself a mint 172 cup to use through the winter and as an every day car in the summer!
So far i love it! i have worked on quite a few 172/182s and really enjoyed driving them which is what made me want to get one.

Its already been poly bushed, had a stealth exhaust fitted and has got a panel filter...
i will probably keep it fairly standard apart from matching the inlets, blasting and painting a few bits in the engine bay and fitting some Eibach springs

haha yea my friend said that there is usually a few cups killed in winter! dont know why tho..... cars never used to have ABS lol just got to drive to the conditions

My cup is brilliant in the snow. I'd much rather be in that that in something with abs. There's no reason why a cup should be worse unless you can't drive very well.

cheers for the drive in the cup tonight, the steering wheel feels much much better than the standard one. really tempted to gety one now.
look forward to seeing the cup in the daylight at the meet on sunday.
