Hello, my names Sophie, Im from glastonbury in somerset, unfortunately I dont own a clio sorry guys!

Ive been pointed in the direction of this forum by some of the members from Talk-Torque.co.uk, some may have heard of them.

As a hobby a do Flocking, ie dashboards, doorcards etc, my main customers are those who do trackdays and so on, I was told that there may be some interest from this forum so thought id join up and see for myself

dont have a website yet as havent been doing it very long, the other half works in IT so hopefully will have one up and running before long

I have recently done a centre console from an RX7 which I have some pics of, will be doing the dash at the weekend

this gives you an idea of flocked finish against standard factory finish.

One thing i have always wondered about flocking stuff, does it easily fall off / pull off and leave bits everywhere?

Im getting a 106 gti soon hopefully and eventually will want the dash in that flocking as there not right nice standard so might contact you at some point

not if its done properly!

the fibres which are used are electrostatically charged, which makes the finish so durable and so are attracted to the adhesive, the adhesive is a particular kind, I use a two part epoxy which is waterproof and very hard wearing, the fibres which are used are nylon which take a lot of wear and tear as some may already know.
its the cure time for the adhesive which is important, if the flocked area is not let to cure/set then it will go wrong- ie people get impatient!
I allow a cure period of no less then 36 hours in a warm enviroment.

with regards to prices, for a 106, clio size dash im charging £60, however if you wanted other colours let me know as there is quite a range, even Hot pink lol!
however with regards to sending the dash if you live a distance away, that would be your responsability

this is the price list I have on another forum, gives you an idea

Dashboard, centre consoles, door cards, all of these can be flocked as long as they have a non pourous surface.

PRICES

106, starlet, civic size dashes- £60

Integra, subaru, evo size dashes- £80

Door cards- £35 each

Dash and centre console- price of dash + £25

I keep black flock in stock always, there are a variety of different colours if you would like to see them PM me and I can email them to you.
If there is something that you would like flocked that is not listed please get in contact as im always open to new challenges!
