Help - 1 month broadband options?

My dad went and cancelled our BT phone line/broadband package to talktalk. Got a letter through this morning saying the phone line is active tomorrow but broadband wont be activated till 17th Dec. The only solution I can see is trying to find a temporary one month contract. Can anyone offer me any advise/other ideas?

Thing is, loads of broadband providers can do 1 month contracts, but with any broadband provider the whole process will take 14 days. It's not a next day thing.

I'd either find a neighbour who would be willing to share or use your mobile phone as the connection (e.g. http://www.three.co.uk/personal/products_services_/mobile_broadband_/index.omp)

looks decent - only thing is its asking for a mac code from my current provider who is bt but my dad has already given the mac code to talktalk, can i use the same code

I think your going to have to just wait, otherwise it well feck everything up.

Could use good old 56k.
