help 182 wont start

cars been fine untill now . been out this morning ok went back out about a hour later came back to the car and it wont start..it turns for a split second then dies....any ideas plz..

start and then turns off?

clean or change the crankshaft sensor

what do you mean by 'it turns for a split second then dies'?

Does it turn over and not fire ?

Does it turn over start and then die?

sorry.. it turnes over for maybe a second but dont fire and cuts out....if you see what i mean...

those two faults are mutually exclusive, either it fires then dies OR it wont start?

Yes - if its not firing the engine would simply keep turning over until

a) you let go of the key.
b) your battery went flat.

and would never start.

It sounds like you mean it fires (starts), runs for a few seconds and then dies?
