Help! Advice needed

Im gonna cut the end off this and hard wire it in. Does anybody know which is + and which is - is the diagram below right??

correct, youll find that the positive "nipple" will unscrew, and youll find a fuse in there

Just be sure to fuse it again after you cut the plug off
