help :( alarm not setting, red centre console light on with ignition off

ok so turned my car 2005 clio 182 off today after driving it.
pulled the key out and the little red light next to the gear stick was lit solid.
checked all the fuses in the car and couldnt see any blown.
i locked the car with the window down to check is was setting and it locked with it down which its never done before

can anyone shed some light on what to check im lost

Also noticed I have a back feed on the central locking button. Very dim when unlocked and good a strong light when locked. Not sure if it's all related but have never noticed it before!

Why would the alarm know the window was down ?

If the car locks, then walk away.. Alarms are basically just a nuisance anyway.

I think you're worrying far too much about absolutely nothing.

I'm not sure how but it was the same as when you try and lock it with a door open its just a constant beep until you rectified the problem. My radio blew the fuse when I was outing it back in.( loads of loom for aftermarket and steering controls) and ever since then I've noticed it
