Help before i throw it out the window!!!

The CD/DVD drive on my pc is opening every 30 seconds on its own. It opens half way and then closes again. I had a quick look at the processes but cant see anything obvioud, though i dont know what im looking for.

Help please, its driving me nuts!

Possibly a trojan if people still use them. does it do it when not connected to the internetz??

It's probably getting stuck somewhere rather than a program doing it, maybe somethings come lose inside, maybe open it up...

i just disconnected the net and its still doing it. Shall i post up my processes list if that will help?

iv managed to stop it by disbaling the drive, though thats not solved the problem. Ill take a look inside when iv got the head for it.

My mums does this. Well annoying.
