HELP Cat 1 Cetificate!

Ive just bought a FRST with a CAT1 Clifford Alarm & Immobiliser but has no certificate with it. How do i aquire 1? Plus it sounds after 20 seconds of arming so needs looking at/fixing first.

Im in Manchester. ANY 1 HELP ME?

u can only get the cat 1 certificate from the company that installed it if it goes off it sounds like it has not been set up properly

No reciept so how can i find out?

Do you reckon my nearest Clifford alarm fitter can fix it and issue me a certificate? Some1 else must have overcome this. Thanx.

I just photocopied my mates cert and tip-exed it put my details in copied it again and faxed to them job done!

Bit naughty but worth the £400 I saved back then!

Yep, i had same problem. You can go to a clifford supplier who can check the alarm and re issue a VSIB certificate to prove it is a cat 1 alarm. I used Safe and Sound in Droylsden/Ashton cos I knew a lad that worked there and got cheap stuff Their number is 0161 370 4751

Had this problem with a cobra alarm I had on my old uno turbo. Simply cured. Go to ANY insurance approved/certified fitter and they will check and type you a new certificate/confirmation.
