Oryt,
new to this so any help would be appreciated!
just having some issues with my 182 and wondered if anyone else has experienced the same symptoms. When dipping clutch or dropping revs say at a junction the cars cutting out. Ehen this happened, both the stop and battery lights were coming on. Starting it back up again seems to be okay until the next junction. And now the car occasionally decides it wants to mix things up and revs it's self idling at high revs 2-3k
You can tell it is not running as it should, running a bit rich and throwing out a lot of unburnt fuel from the exhaust. Also it seems to be coughing and spluttering until it cuts out again.
I've had a some pals who are subru experts look at it, but had no luck!
Initially thought it was the lambs so replaced that one of the lambda sensors, still no change.
Also took the MAP sensor out as the engine was running this stopped the revs jumping around, so replaced that and yep back to square one still cutting out althought it's made it run a tiny bit better not giving out as much unburn fuel, could there be something liked to that?
Finally cleaned the throttle body too, no change!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!! - or if anyone else has any thoughts as to what the problem could be, would be useful!
