After some help & advice please. Just ordered a new head unit to replace factory one. Now looking into speaker upgrades but confused.
I think the current fronts are components ? So I have speakers in front doors and tweeters in dash (not bothered about rear speakers for now).
Is it possible to get decent component speakers (around £100) for the doors that dont come with tweeters ? Or am I missing the point ?
Have searched on here, but not sure if the tweeters come out without taking the dash top off. Some people say yes, others say no. Would rather avoid dash out if possible.
If it does have to come out - what about Coaxials for the front doors instead of components ? I assume i'd have to somehow disconnect the dash tweeters - is that easy to do ?
Not looking for anything amazing btw, just a decent improvement over standard.
