Help fitting coilovers

I've got a set of v Maxx coilovers sitting here waiting to be fitted, but I was wondering what parts I need to keep from the old shocks? And also how much would do you recommend I lower them by? The car is a mk2 ph2 if that's any use.

at a stab i would just say the top mounts are the only things needed to put them on, but if you're putting new coilovers on might be worth picking up a new set of mounts to make it fresh

also they say on a non sport 60mm is whats needed to make it look rigiht if i remember correctly
