HELP!! how do i tell a piper cam to a standard cam?

i took the inlet piper cam out of my engine,ho do i tell ifit is a piper cam or a standard cam?

It will have the details stamped into the dizzy end.....

only have the inlet one out

it'll say piper on it, mine say piper 270 on them

i had a set before and it was stamped only on the exhaust cam which is currently stuck in the head..

Should be on both.

my other ones didnt, and they were definatly 270's stamped only on exhaust cam, measured them against standard

Measure the inlet one and compare it to a specification from the net or Haynes manual then?

measured round the whole of 1 lobe, not 100% accurate but it measured at 113mm, anyone be able to tell me?
