Help needed -Doors are different shade to body???

  clio 172
As title states ive bought an iceberg silver ph2 clio 172 and the doors seem to be a slightly different shade from the rest of the car, is this a sign of respray/repair or is it a common feature of the paintwork on these models?? As you've prob guessd im pretty new to the renault scene and any help/advice would be much appreciated.....

my clio 197 had about 4 different shades of red, especially on the plastics!

It may have had a spray, but that doesnt mean its a shed, it might just have been keyed for example.

Mine has a touch up spray at the bottom of the drivers door - I never knew it existed to my asshole mate told me, now I look at it every time I walk upto the car lol

I actually rang the owner who had it from new before I got it and she had it done as apparently some dog was pawing at her getting out of her car and was scratching the paint lol.

So as above could just mean someones had some dents removed.

Does the rear quarter match the door? don't trust the wings they always look different being plastic.

Very common feature of the cars. Mine's the same - in low light conditions the doors look like a slightly darker colour than the wings.
Don't quote me, but I think they're all like it (Icebergs that is).

The wings look a slight different shade to the doors on almost all Clio's because the wings are plastic.

This is what the previous owner had told me but I wasnt 100% convinced, its probably not that noticable to most people but it just something I picked up on.

Thanks again guys!
